A day filled with cheer

Christmas is only a day away and tons of text messages, cards and emails have yet to be delivered - presents too have yet to be given. Since the majority of my Facebook friends do celebrate Christmas, I'm going to take the easy road and wish them through this little note.

This will save me from typing numerous of Christmas greetings for each significant person.

Merry Christmas, loves! May this Christmas be whatever you have hoped and wished for. May tons and tons of amazing gifts be layed under your Christmas tree. May you be kissed under a mistletoe. May be blessed with all the best things in life and lastly, may this day be spent with none other than your family and closest friends. Because nothing beats a good old get-together.

Having rekindled the joy for Christmas, I'm gonna take this opportunity to be gracious and thankful (something that's beyond the usual me).

I'm sorry for whatever wrong doings I've done.
I'm sorry to the people I've mistreated.
I'm sorry for not appreciating and being thankful more often.
etc etc.

As the year 2009 draws closer to an end, I'm beginning to accept certain circumstances. I'm beginning to accept that some friendships are not meant to last forever, some two people are just not meant to make an 'us', some people don't change no matter how much you pray for them to, promises may mean the world to some people, but to some, they're just mere promises that are meant to be broken and life goes on despite it all. I've learned to accept and move on.

That, I believe, is the only way for me to survive.
