Happiness lies beneath all that's above it

Today was a good day, once again. I hung out with a new set of people whom I've come to know quite well over time - whom also are my usual bunch of people I spend most of my time with within school bounds.

I've come around to watch 17 again, finally after days of aggravation. Being a true fan of his ever since the release of High School Musical. He still managed to deliver, (yet) again, which somehow doesn't come much of a surprise to me. Cause' in my point of view, he always did. Whether it was by being Wild Cat's most popular basketball player at East High or by dispositioning himself more fatherly in his latest film, 17 again.

Though i must admit, I never knew he had it in him to shed a tear whilst confessing his past yet treasured memories to Scarlet (his wife), in hope of her postponing their divorce trial.

One of the few memorable quotes;

"Scarlet, before you go through this, I want to remind you of September 7th, 1988. It was the first time that I saw you. You were reading Less Than Zero, and you were wearing a Guns 'n' Roses t-shirt. I'd never seen anything so perfect. I remember thinking that I had to have you or I'd die... then you whispered that you loved me at the homecoming dance, and I felt so peaceful... and safe... because I knew that no matter what happened, from that day on, nothing can ever be that bad... because I had you. And then I, uh... I grew up and I lost my way. And I blamed you for my failures. And I know that you think you have to do this today... but I don't want you to. But I guess... if I love you, I should let you move on".

All in all - the funny and emotional episodes, the movie was much enjoyed. Another movie to be ticked off my list.

Apart from good movies, correction- the good movie, time was well spent on roaming the whole of Pavilion. I'd managed to smuggle some shopping time for myself - i got myself a stripped sweater along with a long charm necklace from Diva. I'd say, it was worth it. In addition, a photoshoot took place in one of the dressing rooms while trying on clothes - eventhough we, Low and myself knew it was not allowed (cheeky, much).

Later on that day, one of my good friends celebrated his seventeenth birthday as well; Imran. It was celebrated at Pizza Hut. Apart from being the noisiest people there - much giggling and jokes were produced each and every second. As always, that's what made it so much fun being around them. Then, to end our day, a cake cutting ceremony took place along with the well-knowned standardized version of the 'Happy Birthday' song.

Basically, that's how my day went. Another well-spent day.

To Imran, Happy Birthday once again you one hell of a pondan.

To Low, I'm truly sory pictures of the both of us didn't get a chance to be captured. I'll make up for it soon, i promise.
