I care enough to make this movie trailer another one of my entries, simply because it stars my favorite teen heartthrob; Zac Efron.
It's placed in New York, 1937. Richard Samuels dreams of making his mark on Broadway.
After a chance encounter with a theatre company outside a derelict theatre, The Mercury, Richard soon finds himself inside chatting with Orson Welles, the Director of Broadways first Shakespearean production, Julius Caesar.
When Samuels is coupled up with Welles' gorgeous production assistant, Sonja Jones, he is then captivated by her vivacity and ability to manage everything behind the scenes by schmoozing all the right people which soon is apparent that she's willing to do anything to get her big break.
Working undeniably close on the production together, Sonja seems more intent in furthering her career and relationship with Samuels.
But then, their relationship is overpowered by egoism and fame, when Sonja is in desperate need to make it big time so much so that she sleeps with Welles for he promised to introduce her to some famous producers.
It's a story about how fame is captured and the mountains they scrape just to have a glimpse of how it feels.
