It's just been a few minutes since I got back from such a lovely dinner at Happy Seasons. Trust Aunt Lydea to initiate an evening of dining out! Of course, that also means we were joined by Uncle Zani's parents and brother - all the more merrier.
Another day of eating out, which never seems to bore me. God, you've no idea how full I am right now! Just when I was about to start a crash diet, temptation overtakes me. Especially when dining in glamorous new restaurants, where the ambiance is perfect.
As the waiter's cleared the tables, everyone was still at their seats, laughing about the good old days. My grandfather (mum's side) was a bike-rider - nothing beats the thrill of it, so he claims. While lending my ears to eavesdrop on their conversation, I just couldn't believe it. Since, I've never been told about such experiences before. After awhile, the manager came to greet us - well, Uncle Zani, that is. After all the laughs they exchanged and complements given about the food, the manager insisted we help ourselves to ice-cream downstairs - which would be on him. These little cousins of mine were all-smiles!
And there's something else I'd found out. I seem to be finding out about a lot of things over dinner, ay? I can't believe Farid, from school is related to Amirul, Uncle Zani's nephew. What a small, small world this is. It was so good to have something in common to talk to Amirul about, too. We got along well.
But the one thing i was truly awestruck about was the drink I'd ordered - which had a tiny rosebud as a deco. So pretty ;p
