What a relaxing day it has been. I'd woke up at about 11 a.m. to the footsteps that were coming in and going out of my room, the shirking sound of the door, the loud voices coming from the television. Noise, noise, noise. I, truth be told, am very sensitive towards sound. That's the reason I'm always disturbed from my sleep. How I wish I could sometimes sleep like my sister or Dad - like a log.
Later by noon, after successfully waking Dad up from his sleep (he just came home from his flight), we headed to Uncle Fikri's house for lunch. Delicious food was served at the table, awaiting to satisfy my hunger. Macaroni. Chicken Rendang. Ketupat. On top of that, there were cookies. This aunty's Pineapple Tarts are probably the best i've tasted. Hence, the emptiness of the tupperware she gave us.
Early this evening, I'd eaten dinner in Popo's house. In conjuction with Aunty Mei's birthday, i'd feasted on glorious curry/sweet and sour crabs. Then, it was time to sing for the birthday girl. She made her wish, blew out the candles and cut her cake - Sugi cake. Wouldn't exactly be my choice for a birthday cake, but oh well... It's already set in my mum's head, that a cake is just a simbol. So, it doesn't matter if there's cake or not. But to me, it's different. When it's my birthday, I always like seeing a beautiful, delicious cake in front of me. Everybody does. And that's the way it's been for each and every birthday I've lived through. I consider myself lucky, on that part.
Tonight, my two little cousins are sleeping over. Can't remember how long it's been since they've done so. It's always nice seeing little one's look up to you to teach them or help them with something. Nice to see them run around the house playing hide-and-seek or playing with Barbie - the little things I'd use to play as a kid. Just a few moments ago, I played a Barbie online game with Emily. He he! I can't imagine I'd even suggested it to her.
I should probably be spending time with them instead of on the internet. So, Goodnight world!

On another note, I'd watched the VMA's 09' on MTV a few hours ago. And I saw the whole Kanye 'scene' - what a douchebag. I was more amazed of the whole MJ performance. Truly amazing! So, here.
