you win some, you lose some

Just got back home from a long, but rather fun day. My legs are aching. All I feel like doing is soaking my legs in warm water and after, someone would be so kind as to massage it for me. Well, I wish.

Today, I'd spent the whole afternoon with a few of my girlfriends - Arwin, Ravjoth and recently Bethany (a first-timer in going out with us). Plus, Low and Syai (also not the usual people i go out with). But today, was a good day indeed - a beginning of a tight-knitted relationship between us all.

So, to begin our first day of liberty (of not having school), we booked tickets to watch The Proposal which were expired due to our late arrival. But we bought tickets to watch that movie anyways. A hilarious, heart-warming movie. I realized that Arwin and myself were the only two people out of all of us whom were actually tearing. Yes, again, we are emotional like that. We rummaged our bags for more kleenex to be prepared. The tears kept gushing out, eventhough we kept wiping them every few seconds, causing' our mascaraed eyes to smudge.

Later on, we decided to play a few games of bowling. Not having to bowl in what seems like a long while made me even more eager on having a feel of it once again. And apparently today, when we bought two games, we got an additional two games for free. Each of us grabbed our shoe size as quickly as possible, keyed our names into the system and bowled till 3.30 p.m. By then we still had another game to play but we decided to cancel it. When we did, w played pool for a few minutes - another game I haven't played in a long while. As soon as we were done, our stomachs were practically threatening us - well, me - that if didn't have my lunch I'd be dealing with that unbearable gastric pain. So, before that were to occur, we willingly had our lunch at Papa Johns - which I strongly suggested.

We were well satisfied - our tummies full, our hearts satisfied - as we made our way home.

But wait, we just had to make a stop at Krispy Kreme. I left the shop with a wide smile on my face and two of my favourites i hand - New York Cheesecake and Coffee something. Simply delish!

The way back home was a bit uncomfortable as the people whom just finished work are making their way back home as well. But at least we managed to make the most of it - laughing hysterically at Ravjoth's loud voice not being able to be tuned down, taking lots of pictures (which will soon be uploaded to Facebook, i believe) and making the most unpredictable conversations. In other words, weird.

Another day, in a long time, well spent.
