Either way, the story, is still the same - unchanged, not plagiarized. After having seen the New Moon trailer a few weeks ago, I can't deny the obvious fact that Jacob is looking so much more appealing - especially to me. Also, as much as I'll forever be in awe of Edward's notions towards love, Jacob's doing a pretty good job - I like the way he holds Bella in the first picture. It's like he wouldn't have it any other way, he refuses to have it any other way. Like he would do anything in his power to protect her, to ensure her safety.

I'm pretty sure Edward must've regretted every single second - felt the blackest kind of blasphemy to have endured a brief withdrawal from her life. Especially the fact that he would be leaving her with her only considerable shoulder to cry on - Jacob. By all means, he should feel bad. No man should just leave in silence, and leave his women without any explanations, even if it's for a good enough cause.
