there's more to love

What a good, productive day it has been - for most parts. I'd attended the NST S.I.R Spelling Bee Competition, which my brother had taken part in. If you're wondering if he had made it to the finals? Well, the harsh truth is that he wasn't even close. He was out during the second round due to error in him spelling the word, "shingles" which he had spelt as, "shinggles".

Fear and nervousness had made their premiere on his face. His palms, sweaty and his heart beating faster than it's usual rate - at least that's what he told me.
Believe me, it showed alright.

I'd also managed to learn a few words which were unknown to me before- words that widened my vocabulary a few inches or two.

And when they were entitled to a 40 minute break, I'd taken advantage of the time to roam the floors of Times Square, alongside my sister and Manvin (the annoying little one). I also managed to do a little shopping - I'd bought a grey vintage top. As for the many books that were so tempting to be bought, I'd resisted them all. It was pretty hard, but I had to do it. I tend to buy new books when I haven't even read the one's that are still on my 'pending to be read' list. Yes, a weakness of mine.

Manvin; the annoying little one.

A few moments ago, I'd celebrated my little cousin's 8th birthday. He's growing up so fast, and I'm not liking it. Soon, I won't be able to cuddle up to him, to gush over his chubby cheeks or even receive kisses from him. I'm not sure if I want him to grow up - I love this little boy, the way he is, now.

On another note, i find myself photographing a lot lately- well, for awhile now. It'll do me a great deal if all of it were to be magically uploaded into my photostream. I think I'm beginning to appreciate photography for what it's worth, more and more, by each day - a new interest in fact, a new love.

P.S - I'm falling more deeply in love with David Archuletta and his music- it's something about his voice, the very depth of it. Something about his meaningful song lyrics. I love it all.
