Chivalry ain't dead, after all
I'd finally gotten the chance to met him after all the times of failed planning and busy daily schedules that never seemed to flee from us time and time before. I finally spent time with him, just the two of us. It's been quite some time since we actually sat down and talked. The last we met felt like eons ago, when we sat down on the bench and we were both tongue-tied. As humiliating and awkward as that felt, we've moved past that phase. Thank God!
This time, words just kept flowing out of my mouth, topics of conversation kept coming up - much to my surprise. Being speechless or mute sure wasn't in our dictionary, at least for the time being. First time, in a long time, i felt comfortable with him. I truly did.
On top of that, he showed the chivalrous side of him too. A true gentlemen, at least that's what I've realized today - a thumbs up on my list. He showed it by offering to pay for my drink - cheesy, i know but sweet. A gesture that hardly comes my way, truth be told. It's nice being around a gentlemen for change, other than deal with uncivilized hooligans whom which I have to put up with in my daily life.
He made today a remembering one. I'm anticipating for more meet up's and more time with him, please.
