Chick-lit OR Mystery/fantasy?



How was my day? Well, it was not really that awesome and at the same time, not that bad either.
Talk about balanced (Hah). I went to KLCC with Arwin (my BBF); her sister wanted to have lunch with her boyfriend [that was the main reason we went]. Anyhow, we got to spend a girl's day out. Just the two of us; not lesbians! After having to waste minutes on entering clothing outlets and then exit-ing without purchasing anything, we decided to head straight up to the Kinokuniya bookshop in hope to find the books we on each of our lists. On mine, 'The Host' by Stephanie Mayer was at the top [the very main book i was willing on purchasing]. After that, were 'Pretty Little Liars' [the whole sequel], Meg Cabot's 'Princess Diaries' whole series etc etc.
After seeking for help from the 'information counter', the lady lead me straight to the last book of 'The Host' [hard cover] available. As only the Hard Covered one's were available and the price was RM105.90, i had second thoughts about getting it. Seeking my best friend's opinion helped me choose so yea, i was willing to wait for the non- hard covered one's. But, since lately i've been a lover of chick-lits, romance novels etc etc [thanks to the Twilight Saga], i haven't been able to keep myself away from books. So since i decided not to purchase 'The Host', i decided to go for the second choice on my books-to-get list; 'Pretty Little Liars'.
Ecstatic is how i'm feeling right now. I can't wait to start reading it, though i still have to finish my 'Right Before Your Eyes' [little black dress novel].



P.S - like my aunt said, 'when reading, it's like a whole new world out there!'.
